The Physics and Astronomy Faculty Teaching InstituteEarly career astronomy and astrophysics faculty of all ranks are invited to register for the Physics and Astronomy Faculty Teaching Institute (FTI) to be held in Washington, DC, 26-29 June. The Physics and Astronomy FTI, formerly known as the New Faculty Workshop, is a professional development program for physics and astronomy faculty focused on effective and inclusive teaching practice. The signature event is an intensive four-day professional development workshop, followed by an array of FTI long-term engagement activities to continue a meaningful connection with the physics teaching community.  The FTI is sponsored by the American Astronomical Society, the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the American Physical Society and funded by the National Science Foundation.
